2026 Board of
Directors
Our board brings together leaders from across South Florida who share a commitment to connection, mental wellness, and community impact. Each member plays a role in helping expand access, build partnerships, and move the mission forward.
Beth Taché is the Founder and Executive Director of Bloom Connect Project, Inc. and the visionary behind the South Florida Mental Wellness Summit & Expo. A native Floridian and University of Florida graduate, Beth built her career in marketing through Bloom Social & Co. and Taché Marketing Solutions before channeling that energy into mission-driven community work. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Russell Education Foundation.

Zaida Alvarez is a dedicated community advocate who, together with her husband Juan Carlos Arias and daughter Angelica, founded the ECHO Scholarship through Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida to celebrate Angelica's years of excellence as a Girl Scout. Now based in Georgia and active with Girl Scouts of America, Zaida brings a legacy of youth empowerment and family-centered giving to her role as Bloom Connect's Board Chair.

Rachel Autler is a veteran educator and Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2021 Principal of the Year who now serves as a regional administrative director. Her leadership in school-based mental wellness and student support programs makes her a natural champion for the Summit's community mission.

Corey Brix is the General Manager of the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines — the very venue that hosts the South Florida Mental Wellness Summit & Expo. With expertise in facility finance, operations, and large-scale event production through ASM Global, he ensures Bloom Connect's flagship event delivers an exceptional experience for every attendee and partner.

Renzo Barredo is a South Florida financial advisor at Coastal Wealth who has spent over a decade bridging the conversation between financial wellness and mental health. He has served on the boards of the Florida Initiative for Suicide Prevention and the Weston Alliance for Youth, and was a moderator at Broward County's first Mental Health Summit in 2018.

Graciela Jimenez is a licensed marriage and family therapist with Care & Counseling at Baptist Health South Florida. With expertise in depression, adolescent mental health, and cognitive behavioral therapy, she brings frontline clinical perspective to Bloom Connect's work of expanding access to mental wellness resources across the region.

Cynthia Moreno is the Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Development Center, a Broward County nonprofit providing specialized diversion services to at-risk youth and their families across southwestern Broward County. Her leadership at the intersection of youth services and community mental health makes her an invaluable voice on the Bloom Connect board.
